App Spending to Grow At Much Higher Rate by 2023 Revealed a Report Apply and Google, app distribution platforms have been doing huge business through  apps , Apple store for iOS and Google Play Store of Android had a total user spending on apps of around $72 billion in 2018. The app market is expected to keep growing at a higher rate and  a report suggested , the user spending of both the platforms will reach $156 billion by 2023.  Sensor Tower , an analytic and intelligence firm prepared a report according to which there will be a 120 percent growth in the app market in the coming few years. The Apple inc. is going to stay above Google in a number of apps it holds. The user spending of the App Store for iOS will is $96 billion whereas the Google Play Store will have around $60 billion. This does not include the third-party app stores of Android devices in China. App Store has higher app spending because iOS devices are not only expensive but also are more popular in developed market

The 2-step Verification Interface of Google Has a New Design Two-step verification interface has been introduced by Google for G Suite which is soon expected to be applied to other services within the next few weeks. The two-step verification introduced by Google has been made easier for the users, especially when the USB or Bluetooth security key is being used.  "We’re updating how 2-Step Verification works for G Suite. This will make new 2-Step Verification methods available for some devices, and update the 2-Step Verification user interface on mobile and desktop devices.", announced G Suite team  in a blog post . Other models will also have the Bluetooth key support, Google announced. Before this, the Titan key was used by Google for 2-step verification in G Suite. Google Photos to Introduce New ‘Crop and Adjust’ Feature Last year Google announced  a Suggested App  Actions  feature at the I/O developer conference. Following this, Google Photos has introduced a ‘Crop and Adjust’ feature for Android devices which will allow scanning documents. This allows taking improved photos of documents by adjusting colors and also remove backgrounds using Artificial Intelligence (AI). It is expected to be soon available for iOS as well.  Google announced this new feature through a tweet , saying that with a single tap documents can be cropped on Google Photos. When the captured document is recognized by it, a Crop and Adjust pill will be shown at the bottom of screen. Facebook and Instagram to put Restrictions on live feature, along with Implementing Other Changes to Tackle Hate Speech following the Christchurch Incident! The Christchurch terrorist attack has  landed Facebook  (and its subsidiary Instagram) in hot waters. The reason behind it being the live broadcast of the heinous attack through Facebook on 15th March.  Facebook is now being pressurized politically to do whatever it takes to prevent any such broadcasts from making it to the platform in the future.  The Chief Operating Officer of Facebook, Sheryl Sandberg recently proposed changes that the company plans on implementing. The changes were proposed on Instagram’s press release channel.  First of all, Ms. Sandberg condemned the attack and expressed solidarity with the victims, their families, the Muslim community and all of New Zealand in general, on behalf of everyone at Facebook. The upcoming smartphone from Motorola, which was so far just a part of the rumour mill, has now been accidentally confirmed by Google. The Motorola One Vision has been listed among the devices supporting Google's ARCore on the company's developers portal. The listing also hints at the sooner than expected launch of the Motorola phone. The handset is rumoured to come with an Exynos 9610 SoC and will feature up to 4GB of RAM. Warcraft, Warcraft 2 Get DRM-Free Digital Releases on GOG With Performance Optimisations It appears that bringing back classics is the new ‘it' trend in the gaming arena, be it remastered versions or a just a digital avatar of an old title. The latest classics to get the digital treatment are a pair of Blizzard Entertainment titles – Warcraft: Orcs and Humans and Warcraft 2: Battle.net Edition. Digital copies of both the variants, sans any DRM obligations, are now available on GOG with the expansion pack in tow. The games can now be purchased separately or as a bundle on the GOG store. Whiteboard App to Make your Handwritten Notes Legible The Windows 10 app,  Microsoft Whiteboard  has  introduced new two inking features .  The ink beautification feature will now make handwritten notes legible by analyzing your handwriting and place readable strokes in its place. By capturing the photo from the physical whiteboard the ink grab feature will convert it into digital ink on the whiteboard app. It means there is no need to recreate the content from scratch and this saves the time.  For now, the Ink grab and Ink beautification feature is only available on the Windows 10 app, Whiteboard and will be soon updated on the iOS app.  Integration of Whiteboard into Teams meeting has also been announced by the Microsoft. When the pill-shaped Search bar finally appeared on the Google desktop's results page late last year, it became evident that the Google Material Theme was on its way to Google.com. Interestingly, the new Search bar has finally popped up on the homepage as well, earlier this month. Now, Google is all set to move on to the next phase of the redesigning process, as new Material Theme icons are reportedly being tested alongside every web Search category.  Joe Youngblood  was first to detect the A/B test and also shared the new icons that are displayed below the Search bar in results. However, it should be noted that it isn’t a complete cast off, but a clear indication about each tab’s representation.
