Facebook introduces a new feature for its groups

As Facebook faces an overall decline in the number of its monthly active users (MAU) on the main application, it strives to make efforts to capitalize on what it is left with — 1 billion group users. Since the advent and unprecedented growth of messaging applications, people have reportedly begun to move away from public sharing, therefore, discouraging engagement.

However, it appears that the company is really willing to invest on its groups category. This is evident from the fact that Facebook has been introducing multiple updates in this field. The latest feature allows group administrators to highlight best comments, which can incite discussion and interaction among people. Also, with this tool, members of groups will be facilitated as well, as they would not have to scroll past hundred of messages to find the most relevant one.
